I only know: 大 Dai/big
One of the few characters I can recognize because it's relatively simple and distinctive.

While 马 (horse) makes more sense as the character to describe Malaysia. The character is a "sound" translation of the "Ma" in Malaysia. This exchange will help me remember the character better
