1) they've never used toys and don't know what they're missing

2) they're abuse victims

3) they're content with their position adjacent to power and don't want to threaten it

@TheBierFrau a woman cannot be ADJACENT to power if she DID vote for him... she would have to either be rich and powerful and greedy herself, or broken.

@AndyReRe I do not have the time or the willingness to educate you on this. Read up on proximity to power, in particular, how it relates to whiteness, because it's been explaining how women and minorities (this time Hispanics) make decisions against their own interests for years. It isn't a new concept.

@TheBierFrau not disagreeing, and I understand what you mean, seems my definition of 'adjacent' has been wrong all these years :) for some reason I've always through it mean more 'next to' as in 'equal' rather than 'near by', but in this case not equal. I'm ESL, so that's my excuse ;)
