It's crazy how much this happens.
Edited to add: This toon is about the lack of shared space for everybody else besides cars, which are given all the space in the world to park.
Private industry using public infrastructure needs to be regulated, and that is what #yeg did to help the scooter share industry survive, is to start fining the companies for improperly parked eScooters. Now they have warning stickers on them and the problem seems... less? A little too early to say.
