Freecycle, an online forum for exchanging used items, has revealed they had a data breach affecting more than 7 million users. Freecycle discovered the breach on Aug 30. The stolen data were for sale on a hacking forum, and includes usernames, User IDs, emails, and hashed passwords. Users are advised to change their passwords, and be vigilant about phishing emails claiming to be Freecycle.
