@uxmark Nice to see some sensible actions being taken by the left. Or at least the Greens and the NDP, I haven't heard tell of any Liberals acting strategically and stepping away in favour of an NDP/Green candidate.

I *did* hear an interesting debate on this – The point was made that these people shouldn't be stepping down at this point, as it is subverting democracy or some such thing. The party they represent can't sub a candidate in time, and people who are dyed-in-the-wool NDPers or Greens can't vote for their party. Made me pause, briefly.

@MichaelPorter For me I’ve voted NDP forever, and as Catherine is the sitting MPP she has the best chance of defeating the Conservative candidate. But I would look at an individual who is running as a Green, as there are some good ones in Waterloo Region. But in this case I wouldn’t have as the harm reduction of defeating the Conservative is my priority and it’s a close race.
