There is no issue with criticizing the government of Israel for their actions in Gaza. Linking Israel with Nazi Germany crosses a line into antisemitic tropes. I don't know who is moderating this instance but they need to separate in their minds Judaism from Zionism. It is NOT antisemitic to criticize a state, any state, including Israel. This is a country that enacts an apartheid policy discriminating against anyone who isn't Jewish. A nation that is illegally occupying and terrorizing the indigenous people under their control. Antisemitic tropes are those that dehumanize people of the Jewish religion. They are vile and unacceptable ways used by racists to target an ethnic, cultural and religious group. A state, especially one carrying out crimes against humanity as recognized by the ICJ, Amnesty International, and countless international organizations including anti-Zionist Jewish groups, is not above being criticized for its ongoing policy of ethnic-cleansing, which is exactly in the style of Nazi Germany. I can't stress enough that I'm beginning to suspect that on the issue of Israel the moderators on this instance are not impartial, and that is frankly extremely disturbing.
